Yesterday was the best spring day so far. It’s hard to see on the pictures as they were taken late. The sun was shining and it was quite warm, considering the fact that I live in Norway. I replaced my wool tights with some thin ones instead. It was wonderful! No itching. But don’t be fooled -I added a chunky wool cardigan and a thin scarf outside. It’s not THAT hot yet.
What a day yesterday!!!! A rough start to an even more busy week than last week…ah… Oh well, at least I got some good news; me and my BF are now the proud owners of a (bigger) appartement on Vesterbro!!!! YEAY!!!!
By the way, sorry for the sad excuse for a picture. And, NO, my hair has not gotten any shorter, it was just a bad hair day.

Been working all weekend with A big schoolassignment in Fashion illustrations. I spent 12 hours with it on Saturday and 4 hours yesterday. I`m really struggling in this subject. But it turned out OK. This is 2 of my pictures before I got they on their background. I`ll show you the completedwork when I get it back from my teacher.
So.. What U think? I Know I`m not Picasso but I`m proud I finished this thing that's way out of my comfortzone. It almost inspired me to keep on drawing and become even better.
Our trip yesterday didn’t go as planned. Instead of going to IKEA in Brooklyn, we decided to go to the one nearby (or at least we thought it was) but it turned out to be way longer with public transport. It took us ten hours from we left campus until we where back. It all started with a nice bus tour to a place called Spring Valley where we thought there would be a transfer to IKEA, but it turned out to be the final destination (lucky us) so after an hour with confusion, we jumped on a train without knowing where to go next. We ended up in a small town where there where no buses or cabs, so when a guy suggested to give us a ride for 25 dollars, we had no other choice than to say yes.
After three hours we finally got to IKEA well and safe, and the first thing we did was to eat swedish meatballs and smoked salmon. Jummy! I bought a lot of stuff I needed for my room, and of course I had to buy “Ballerina” cookies and some scandinavian chocolate. You can only imagine how much stress we had to go through to figure out a way back home. No wonder I’ve been totally exhausted today; doing absolutely nothing!
My assistant had to carry the rug from NJ – Manhattan – Westchester. Poor you, darling!
Yesterday we had the launch party for our new project ' The Denim Bag Journey'. A projet and limited edition collection in collacoration with the super cool Norwegian bag makers Cala&Jade. See the video from the party below
Today's the last day of work before the winter vacation next week. I love being a teacher and having many long vacations to enjoy! Nevertheless I have two big piles of essays and tests that I need to correct next week so I won't be able to relax completely. My boyfriend's mother arrived yesterday and she's going to stay with us for a week. Hopefully it won't be too cold outside so that we'll be able to get out a little bit while she's here. She's not used to cold or snow (I think this might be the first or second time she's seen any)at all, --
Tirsdag. Tuslet rundt i byen. Innom Acne, Koma, H&M og mye annet fint. Møtte Tea på Bolivar og endte opp med å sitte der noen timer. Spiste ostesmørbrød. Godt. Dro til Malla for jentekveld. Fikk med hjem noe Malla ordnet for meg i Stockholm. Onsdag. Møte i byen. Kjøpte busskort. Blitt fancy de nye busskortene. Innom Uff. Dro på Leila Hafzi. Romantastisk visning. Hjem igjen. Dro på kino. Ble så oppspilt atte hjelp. The Fighter er noe av det beste jeg har sett. Christian Bale og Mark Wahlberg i skjønn forening. Blir ei bedre. Natta.
Yesterday and today have been two pretty good days. Hung out with friends yesterday, had lunch at Bolivar and went to a girls night at Malla's. Today I've been in a meeting, bought a bus card, and been to the movies. Saw The Fighter. Has to be one of my alltime best movie experiences.
Don’t forget to greet your Mom a happy-mothers-day today! That was the very first thing I did when I woke up this morning! So do it now if you haven’t did it yet! Last night I was at a Valentines party. So fun! I hope I’ll be tagged on Facebook with my whole outfit from yesterday’s.
I’m trying to figure out what to wear on Vixen Blog Awards. This was one of the options, but I think I’m going for something else. Not sure yet though.. Been trying to find som killer shoes, but there’s no cool shoes in Oslo. And I don’t have the time to order something online.
And yesterday I went to a makeups store, to see if I could at least find some cool eyeshadow. Ended up getting talked into trying some eyeshadow on, that the guy who worked there thought would “really bring out my eyes”. I came home with purple eyeshadow that looked like I’d been in a fight, painted on eyebrows and a very powdered face. Not only do I hate powder, and the way it smells.. But I got some sort of allergic reacton on the eyeshadow. So my eyes was swollen and red all yesterday evening. Haha..it’s not easy to try to find the perfect outfit, is it?

Yesterday I got a preview of whats to come at Dyrberg/Kern F/W 2011, and I have to say it´s their best collection yet.. I am so obsessed with gold a la Versace in the 90s these days, so this was just up my alley! Is it too soon to say I am looking forward to [...]
Yesterday I went backstage after the Whyred a/w 11 show here in Stockholm, and made a little interview with founder and designer Roland Hjort, about the ‘intense elegance’ A/W 11 collection.
So today I started on my collection, I finished my sketches yesterday. So i started working on it to day, and it tok me the whole school day to finnish one, and start at the second one, and i'm doing 10, and I have to be done by monday, so i got looots to do. Hope they'll turn out good.
