Mosstock…
Yesterday Kate Moss finally tied the knot with The Kills guitarist (and hunkalicious) Jamie Hince. This wedding has been the talk of the talks for a long time, and of course the guessing of the wedding dress designer has been on everybody’s lips.
It turned out that even though John Galliano at the moment is facing the crises of his life, he would never let down his good friend and muse. And this Zelda Fitzgerald inspired dress confirms his true talent.
This lightly sequined dress with the 1920′s veil was combined with blue lining Manolo Blaniks – for her something blue. The bridesmaids led by Kate’s 8-year old daughter Lila Grace was dresses by friend and wedding guest Stella McCartney, who is also is the designer behind Kate’s other outfits of the evening. For her first dance, Moss wore an oyster silk chiffon dress with embroidered bodice and a cut-out back. After that a mini body-con dress with a plunging back and beading all over. And for her going-away suit, she wore a single-breasted, three-piece white wool suit.
The guest list also counted for Naomi Campbell, Daphne Guinness, Philip Traecy, Carine Roitfeld and Anna Wintour.

I’m on fire
A sneak peak at what I did yesterday, and the reason I slept for 16 hours straight. Here I'm wearing the show-piece from Norwegian designer Vatle, of course. It was so much fun trying on so many of her designs, it really gave me a whole new perspective on the collection - and Kjersti Vatle as a designer. She really is amazing.

I’m not even close to paying as much attention to fashion week in Milan as I will during next week’s men’s week in Paris. How ever, yesterday’s Jil Sander show is the one show I’ve found a few favorites from, where I especially like designer Raf Simons’ high waisted and pleated trousers.
You Can Find Me There
Yesterday I started to blog on my old blog again, since this on is in english. So for those of you who prefer to read everything in norwegian you can now follow me here. I’ll still be using this one for my friends and readers who don’t understand norwegian. But if you have blogg.no it will be easier to follow me on that one. And maybe in time I will stop blogging on one of them, but for now I’ll use them both.
- What do you prefer: Norwegian or English?

Summer in the city

Spring has most definitely arrived here in Oslo. I couldn't be happier! Yesterday, we bought a new rug to have outside under our coffee-table, and today we made it look all kinds of pretty. I picked some flowers, while wearing some florals. Found a tin can to keep them safe. Made some ice tea, but drank some hot tea with honey instead. We also had a tiny barbecue, while my lover planted some seeds for her new herbal project. We are like an old married couple, indeed. I love our life. And weekends. In Oslo.TheSunIsShining

Today we had a nice dinner outside at a resturant after work, so many happy people enjoying themselves with drinks and food. :)
The pictures are from yesterday, I spent the whole day in the garden and on the terrasse. That day gave me energy to last a week. :)
VATLE x COSMOBEAUTY F/W
Kjersti Vatle, my favorite Norwegian designer, had a fantastic show yesterday, with a show I’ve never seen anything like before. With artists like Lazee, Thavius Beck and Eva & The Heartmaker, and a collection that everyone in the crowd fell in love with.

Bought these necklaces at Camden Market yesterday. One for £8, two for £14, 120kr. The second one is more green than blue as it looks in the pictures. I’m buying a few more when I go back to London in May.
This morning I handed in my essay which ended up debating media, fashion business and advertisers impact on girls/young women’s self-image. Discussing Barbie, advertising psychology and the use of ultra-thin models. Rather interesting if you ask me!
Now I’m going out for a power walk along Regent’s Canal before I need to start packing. Going back home to Sweden on Friday, and home to Norway in the beginning of April. It’s so warm outside these days, I think I’ll suffocate if I wear more than a t-shirt. The weather forecast says it’ll be 18 degrees on Wednesday, that’s summer temperature in Norway. Well, I can’t say that I’m complaining. Have a great day!

Yesterday was the best spring day so far. It’s hard to see on the pictures as they were taken late. The sun was shining and it was quite warm, considering the fact that I live in Norway. I replaced my wool tights with some thin ones instead. It was wonderful! No itching. But don’t be fooled -I added a chunky wool cardigan and a thin scarf outside. It’s not THAT hot yet.
