Å pakke kofferten er ganske kjedelig i grunn. Nei, søren... Bort med negativiteten. Hurra for pakking! Eh. Overivrig.

I took this photo from the plane as we were flying towards Oslo over my home-town, which is where I've been hiding the past couple of weeks. It's no coincidence I'm inspired by nature.

Presents: -The Denim Bag Journey-
'In 2010 the girls Cala and Jade asked Mardou and Dean to join them travelling. The destination was Oslo. In their travel kits they had old fashioned denim and the finest leathers. On their way to Oslo they met Italian craftsmen, Norwegian salesmen and picked up inspiration and help from other creatives. The result of the journey is the perfect travel companion; a handcrafted bag of denim and leather. Each bag is unique because of its natural materials and customized details. They hope that ‘The Denim Bag Journey’ doesn’t end here but will continue with you.'
-The Denim Bag Journey- is a limited edition denim and leather bag collection for Autumn/Winter 2011 which we have made in collaboration with Norwegian leather bag label Cala&Jade. A selection of the bags are shown below featured by 6 creatives from Oslo, photographed by Patrick Katzman.

I can't wait for this project to be finished!

It’s said that a girl carries her life in her bag. When it comes to me, that is absolutely true. I carry most of this stuff with me most of the time:
- Balenciaga wallet- I can’t go anywhere without it, I keep all my cards in it. Travel insurance, HMV, driving licence, Starbucks card and lots of the shitty GBP-coins.
- Black card wallet, River Island- Holds my travel card and student card so that I can access school.
- Pink card wallet, River Island- Holds my English and Norwegian debit cards.
- Keys- To get into my flat.
- BlackBerry- Because I am paranoid and need to be available at all times, and I need the radio(Old school, but you can’t have Spotify on BlackBerry) .
- Umbrella,H&M- If you have ever been in London you know that the weather usually changes twice/three times a day. And it always start to rain when I haven’t brought it.
- Flats, H&M- I only bring these when I’m going out or are wearing wedges. In London you can end up doing a lot of walking/waiting.
- Gloves, Friis- I get cold when I am walking/waiting.
- Diary- This one is actually my life. I write down EVERYTHING. Dinners, lectures, trips, passwords, quotes.
- USB Stick- You never know when you need one. I mostly need it for school.
- Tube card- Mini-map of the tube.
- Pen and notebook- To write down directions, addresses and other stuff I might need.
- Cosmetic bag,YSL- If I need to freshen up during the day. Especially since as I earlier mentioned, the weather changes constantly.

- Toothbrush, “stole” it from Hilton Hotels.
- Comb, “stole” it from Hilton Hotels.
- Blush, MAC. Blush brush, Lancome.
- Concealer and concealer brush, The Makeup Store. This must be the best concealer I have ever tried.
- Mascara, MAC.
- Lipstick, Dior.
- Eyebrow Colour, H&M.
- Eyedrops, Boots.
Do you keep as much stuff in your bag? I finally found a new camera charger today, phew!

Fantastisk. Skal rammes inn og henges opp hos meg. Følte meg veldig truffet og fikk meg til å tenke hva som er viktig. "Life is short. This is your life."

As I might have mentioned; Stockholm was kind of awesome!
Story Hotel was located in the middle of Stockholm at Stureplan, and once we were settled in our delicious rooms - we kicked off the trip by dining at the exclusive
Riche restaurant. Lindex PR and Press Project Executive
Filippa chose the restaurant, where a gastronomical menu consisting of everything from scallops to deer chutney was very beautifully served. We laughed a lot, drank some bubbly treats and beer; while we made fun of each other, talked about ourselves, life, blogging and of course Lindex. Norwegians and Swedes are like that; always making fun of each others differences - much like Americans and Canadians, I guess. So, there we were: five very different girls having a wonderful time - the awesome
Filippa, beautiful Ulrikka from Lindex in Göteborg, extraordinary
Marie-Amanda from Norway, sweet
Louise from Uddevalla and myself.
We walked back to the hotel stuffed with gourmet foods and anticipations of the next day; and were supposed to go straight to bed – but somehow I ended up taking a walk to the nearest kiosk. Swedish candy, or godis as they call it, is kind of famous - and I just had to get me some yummies, despite the fact that it was midnight.
.......
The following morning I went down to breakfast with
Louise at 8.30, and met
Marie outside around 9.30 to take a taxi over to Hammarby Sjöstad where the photoshoot with Carmen Kass was.

While the make-up artists did their thing with Carmen and the photographers finished setting the lights, we took some time to document our wearings. The location was just great, an old warehouse with large windows - which gave us this beautiful display of natural light.

We talked to the photographers, stylists and other creatives – which were all very curious about our blogging lives and perspectives; while we got to experience the talented Carmen on set. She is so professional and even more gorgeous up close. How come you never see models laugh like they do on set? It’s so refreshing! The photographer, and former art director, was amazing; and totally hyping Carmens work – dancing, complimenting and directing like a true pro. We also had the pleasure of enjoying an open coffee-bar and other refreshing drinks, as well as an amazing lunch buffet with fish, salads and focaccia.

The whole experience was very inspiring. The girls and I had a wonderful time! I’m so amazed by how much appreciation bloggers get in Sweden; while here in Norway we’re more of a.. menace, I guess. The result of the shoot was pretty awesome, and everyone gathered around the screen to see the result during the final outfit shoot.

We rounded up an amazing day with a visit to the
Lindex office where we got a small preview of news to come, a little gift and did some shopping on main-street afterwards. I can’t thank you guys or
Lindex enough for this experience; it was just great!
Pictures not taken by me, (the ones including me and the one of Marie in the warehouse location), are directly linked to their original owner.November 18th, 2010

Stockholm was amazing, the
Story Hotel was amazing,
Lindex was amazing and
Carmen Kass was amazing! I have lots to tell, behind-the-scenes pictures to show you and sweet bloggers to share, and as you probably can see; it was all
amazing! But, first you guys have to (kind of) see the gorgeous hotel-room
Lindex gave me! Look at the walls! So pretty, romantic and very vintage-y bohemian chic! I need the name of their decorator, seriously. Just delicious! If you're ever in Stockholm; this is the place to stay! Not too bad a spot to take some different kind of pictures, either - and the coffee was pretty good.

I'm going to Stockholm today, because you guys were totally awesome and voted for me in the
Lindex Street Stories competition this fall. I get to meet a certain supermodel and go backstage on the shoot, as well as enjoy a free over-night stay and dinner! I'm really looking forward to it, but I'm nervous as well. I'm not very good with people, as I get super awkward and such. Oh, well, wish me luck - it's going to be great!

One of my favourite things to do when I travel is to visit religious buildings.
My best memory from
my Paris trip is actually
Notre Dame. After a long day of sightseeing and shopping, we went into the cathedral, and it was like someone turned of a button or something. Or maybe they turned it on.. We came in there and all of a sudden everything was quiet and peaceful. Such a contrast to the city outside. And then there's something about that gothic architecture, that makes you feel very humble.
.
I think it's so fascinating to see how much they put into the churches back in the day, even though a society might have been poor, the churches was rich. So much art and beauty in one place, it's like you can feel how important the building was for it's people.
After that visit to Notre Dame, religious buildings are somethning that I always have to visit on trips. And when I'm there I light a candle for a special person, and maybe I buy a little thing, like a cross.

All i want to say is that if you haven't been in Croatia, you should go.
We stayed at the island Brac, in a small, old town called
Bol. Rented a car and drove around the island to get a look. Went on top of the high mountains, and also checked out a few of the pittoresque little towns by the sea. Agreed Bol was the best place though, and decided to stay there and just chill for the rest of the week.
There were so many pretty beaches, big and small, dressed and naked.. Something for everyone, If you hate tanning lines then hey.. Very relaxed atmosphere for sure. I had heard that Croatia has the cleanest water in the whole Europe, but I didn't really understand the fuss until I saw it myself. You can see the bottom of the sea now matter how far you swim. And that turqouise colour..so pretty. Other than that I think I should brag about the cousine. I ate grilled fresh fish and buttered rice every day. And the wine..amazing.
I'm pretty sure we'll go back there one day. Actually really loved it:)
