DIY | Pictures from the past
I've always been that person that cannot throw anything away; and this proves it. I'm glad, though, because if I wasn't I would never have been able to make this beautiful thing. First off, I must say that I find old pictures really romantic, but somehow I've completely forgotten about the fact that I myself have taken a lot of photographs throughout the years. Today I decided to go through my forgotten photo-albums, and man was I surprised when I saw what I had saved. Treasures! Lots and lots of treasures! I find myself somewhat overwhelmed, to be honest; because while I've been busy tumbling similar pictures by others, I never stopped to think that I myself might have some. I have in fact been a little girl running around with my parents camera! I've taken pictures of the sun and the rainbow and used flashlight to light up snowball fights and held my fingers in front of the lens. Thank godless for that; because these are some of the most beautiful things I've seen in a long time. I am proud; because though I never intended for the pictures to turn out like that - I did take them and I did save them. Now I know why. Enjoy my little DIY/art-project anno 2011. The pictures I used are from 1996 and up to cirka 2003 - and how I did it is pretty self-explanatory through these photographs, I think; but if you have any questions just ask!

Oh, and if you want to make your own, make sure you have a little helper with you; Emma was very supportive!
Inspiration for this project come from this picture. If you feel like you’ve seen this one before, it’s because you have.
This abstract picture I posted last week is a picture of a moving lighter's flame in negative, upside down. It was a lucky shot of something that turned out to be really beautiful. Emily of Ruby Slipper Journey was actually pretty close when guessing, which really impressed me! I didn't think anyone would get that close! I really like how creative you all were when guessing; it was so much fun reading! It's just one of those pictures I really love. The different shades of blue and subtle movement really does look like something in the water; like paint or a swimmer. It's not edited, just turned upside down. I took it a late night many years ago testing out the functions of my new compact camera. It was a relatively heavy Canon with 3.2 mega pixels; which was huge for me back then! Thanks for playing!210311

It was something special about wering high heels for the first time in months. It felt good to get up in the height again to breathe in tall people’s air. But I need time to adjust to click clocking down the streets during the light hours I think. As I walked my first steps down the main street I felt like a vampire on the loose. In this city the high heeled people are mainly out during night time, so you have to deal with some stares. But eventually you get used to it.

I recently got a belt quite similar to this from Topshop, with 5 or 6 rows. Unfortunately it was a tad too narrow in size S.
If anyone of you can help me get it in size medium or large I would appreciate it sooo much!

If you’re going for the 70′s trend this spring, you need some fringes. The more fringes, the better. I love fringes and I am craving all these great pieces I found at My-Wardrobe. Especially the shoes, I need those shoes. And the last pair of earrings which is only £36, think I’m going to order them tomorrow.

Så herlig at jeg ikke blogger, og når jeg først blogger tar jeg bilder med Photo Booth ..

Nå skal jeg slappe av, se på Grey's, Tumble og gå på online veskeshopping. Interessant! Hva gjør dere?
In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.

This wonderful little white number is designed by Linda Jensen! I actually won it in a giveaway earlier this year! It's so beautiful and I absolutely LOVE it, thank you for this amazing piece of art. I find wearing white in the snow really beautiful and intriguing, soft and interesting. What do you think?I'm wearing Norwegian design by Linda Jensen, Fashionology necklace via Jaks Paper, Kmart tights, H&M stockings and Gojane booties.
