A DAY AT THE UPPER EAST SIDE

Today V and I went to Manhattan to walk around and do some window shopping. But as always, I manage to spend a lot of money today as well. I’m such a sucker when it comes to saving. After we had walked around for a bit, we decided to check out some of the “Gossip Girl hot-spots” at the Upper East Side. We went to see the New York Palace where the Van der Woodsen lives. If you watch the series you’ve probably seen both Nate and Dan waiting outside for Serena.
We had lunch in a very nice restaurant at the Upper East, known as “The social scene for lunch” in New York. This place is where Avery Carlyle began her ascent to reign as Queen Bee of Constance Billard. The food and service was amazing. This restaurant is definitely my favorite place to eat in the city. And of course we had to finish up with a trip to Barney’s ; heaven for all shopaholics.

Selveste Anna Wintour har uttalt: "We all get dressed for Bill". Bill Cunningham er mannen som har fotografert gatemote i New York i over tredve år. Du har kanskje sett gatemote bildene hans i NY Times? Uansett, nå kommer filmen om denne genuint flinke mannen. Å bli fotografert av han er en ære, og å bli oversett av hans linse en stor skuffelse for fiffen. Jeg gleder meg til å se filmen om den syklende gatemotefotografen.
Anna Wintour said "We all get dressed for Bill". Probably the first street style photograph. Cycling around New York for over 30 years, shooting the stylish ones. Now there is a movie. And I am looking forward to get to know this iconic person. Bill Cunningham.

Since I’m studying fashion here in New York I think it will be more fun for you guys to read my blog if I write more about what’s new in fashion and different type of tips to learn. I’ll also post tips about the city and where to go and what to do. Hope you’ll like it!

brand-tags. We went there when we should have been reading to our finals. I should do that now as well!

The rooftop where we live just opened, which makes the exam reading even more distant. Tried to readup there, not very effective. The big apple has too much else to offer. Been a lot of restaurants lately,
but who can blame me when the weather is this good and we can sit outside and watch people while
eating delicious food? I'm feeling this is turning over to a food blog these days, so I added an outfit
picture as well. Let's not loose focus!
