Conosci il lato oscuro

I've been staring at this blank page for a while now, as I can't think of anything to write. What can I write when I'm lacking both inspiration and energy? Complaining about it will not make it better, that's for sure - so I'll just go back to my lover and lay there in her arms, where it's safe and warm.
Quote by Jason Mraz

This series of pictures is just packed with inspiration. Beautiful, ethereal, simple, complex. I love them.

I do not know what it is about models – are they cool because they are models, or do only the cool people of the planet become models? Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated with models, and in my teens my room was carpeted with pictures of the top models of the 90′s.
Today’s models are definitely not less cool than the 90′s pioneers – even though they are no longer hanging on my walls.
Jac Jagaciak – Poland
Samantha Gradoville – USA
Yulia Terentieva – Russia
Shu Pei – China
Ksenia Kahnovich – Russia.

The beautiful Andy from Style Scrapbook really has a talent for DIY, and I love her interpretation of the orange Jill Sander skirt. I think it would be a perfect look if you are going to a summer wedding.

The blog has been very quiet the past couple of weeks, and it is definitely not a new style. I am back, I tell you, back on track.
Today I was introduced to House of Organza, which is a collaboration between stylist Kim Howells and designer/event director Lyall Hakaraia, making a sensorial collection of unique pieces. I am personally very fond of the idea of combining fashion with art and sensorial design in particular -weather it is wearable or not, I am just obsessed with beautiful things. And trust me when I say that this these guys understand beauty.
Go to the web-page to see more fantastic pieces.

So, I'm kind of featured in this awesome book ! I've been so, so eager to share this news with you guys - I almost couldn't keep it to myself! Now it's finally finished and can be purchased at here! I'm deeply honored to be featured among amazing bloggers like Rebecca Stice from The Clothes Horse, Elizabeth Johnson of Delightfully Tacky, Roz Jana of Clothes, Cameras, and Coffee, Jennine Jacob of The Coveted, Susie Lau of Style Bubble, Karla Deras of Karla’s Closet, Shini Park of Park and Cube, Liz Cherkasova of Late Afternoon, Carolina Engman of Fashion Squad, Tavi Gevinson of Style Rookie and Chantal Van Der Meijden of Cororosa. There are too many to mention, but I can't emphasize enough how wonderful it is to be a part of this. Not only is it a great book, but it is filled with people I personally admire and think are amazing bloggers. To think that someone considers me one of the top bloggers in the world is such a compliment, I can't even put it into words. The outfit publication company Weldon Owen chose to feature is the vintage leather dress I wore last fall. The original blog entry is here: The Leather Dress.
A little about the book
The book covers all topics: garment basics, take your pick, garment remix, build your look, skirt the globe, wardrobe basics, tops, bottoms, dresses, colors and fabrics, shoes, accessories and underpinnings. A perfect guide through the maze of fashion, so that you can build a personal style that’s your own!
I’m not even close to paying as much attention to fashion week in Milan as I will during next week’s men’s week in Paris. How ever, yesterday’s Jil Sander show is the one show I’ve found a few favorites from, where I especially like designer Raf Simons’ high waisted and pleated trousers.
