The blog has been very quiet the past couple of weeks, and it is definitely not a new style. I am back, I tell you, back on track.
Today I was introduced to House of Organza, which is a collaboration between stylist Kim Howells and designer/event director Lyall Hakaraia, making a sensorial collection of unique pieces. I am personally very fond of the idea of combining fashion with art and sensorial design in particular -weather it is wearable or not, I am just obsessed with beautiful things. And trust me when I say that this these guys understand beauty.

For ikke så lenge siden var jeg innom de søte jentene hos Presskontakterna for en liten smakebit på La Redoute sin vårkollekjon. Vi fikk et innblikk i safaritrenden, den søte, fargesterke blomstertrenden og La Redoute sitt samarbeid med den belgiske designeren Cathy Pill. Cathy Pill viser en fargesterk feminin linje, med fine skjørt og kjoler og noen råkule jumpsuits. Herlige, behagelige klær for sommerbruk.
Jeg fikk også med en liten ting som en av dere kan være så heldig å vinne...stay tuned.

Opening Ceremony is famous for its collaboration collections with some off the hottest names out there. Like the Rodarte stationary collection, or Into the Wild collection with Pamela love. But just when you think that there is no surprise.
The Tron Legacy Collection is in tribute to the new Cyber space movie with the same name. The clothes is a mixture off fluorescent colors in rubber, neoprene cotton and corduroy. I go sort off crazy for the orange bomber jacket.

By just looking at the pictures I think this is the best designer-collaboration H&M has ever done. It might be because I love what Lanvin is doing. I am really looking forward to see the collection irl and see what fabrics have been used etc. BUT I am also curious of whether the customers are willing to pay $349 for a coat/$199 for a dress or not.
I wasn't going to post about the Lanvin for H&M thing, so why am I? Haha..
First I have to say I'm kinda fed up with the designer collaboration idea in general, and the last couple of them that H&M did was crappy in my opinion.
Lanvin is brand that I have a lot of respect for, and I admire Alber Elbaz always elegant designs. But Lanvin for H&M...? Luxury on a budget..?
Now that pictures have been posted on blogs and we've gotten to see the lookbook, I'm starting to fell pretty positive. I'm not gonna stand in line on an early winter morning to fight over a bunch of coctail dresses tho. I don't need coctail dresses. Well, maybe just one..? Allright, allright..I'll probably be there. And I hope to get to try out one of those draped lbd's. Other than that I have to say this yellow piece is quite convincing.

Featuring details as black diamonds on the inside and claws of 10-30 000 year old mammoth tusk bark this is a jewelry I truly salute. The cuff is made in a limited number of 14 and comes incased in a glass dome.

My first victim was Ida, a beauty from Bø. I fell for her use of colors and effortless style. It came to no surprise for me that she had been working as a model. Her boyfriend had actually made one of her rings himself. Impressive! You can vote for her look here.
