London seen from a bus upper deck

Here in London I prefer to take the bus. Instead of 20 minutes on the tube, I spend 45 minutes on a bus. Why ? The city is not like on the tube map. If you travel by bus you get to know your way around London by foot. For example, it takes me 10 minutes to walk from my school in Holborn to either Covent Garden or Oxford Street. On the tube map it looks…far. Also, you get to see how beautiful London truly is. I took these pictures on the bus that goes directly from my house to Oxford Street.

Our Ten Hour Trip To IKEA

Our trip yesterday didn’t go as planned. Instead of going to IKEA in Brooklyn, we decided to go to the one nearby (or at least we thought it was) but it turned out to be way longer with public transport. It took us ten hours from we left campus until we where back. It all started with a nice bus tour to a place called Spring Valley where we thought there would be a transfer to IKEA, but it turned out to be the final destination (lucky us) so after an hour with confusion, we jumped on a train without knowing where to go next. We ended up in a small town where there where no buses or cabs, so when a guy suggested to give us a ride for 25 dollars, we had no other choice than to say yes.

After three hours we finally got to IKEA well and safe, and the first thing we did was to eat swedish meatballs and smoked salmon. Jummy! I bought a lot of stuff I needed for my room, and of course I had to buy “Ballerina” cookies and some scandinavian chocolate. You can only imagine how much stress we had to go through to figure out a way back home. No wonder I’ve been totally exhausted today; doing absolutely nothing!

My assistant had to carry the rug from NJ – Manhattan – Westchester.
Poor you, darling!

DENMARK DAY 4.

Day 4, and the last day in Denmark. We had to get up way to early to take the bus to the airport, even though it was a long time until the plane went, but there was only one buss we could take. So we tok the buss super early, and the buss ride were around one hour. Then we had to go off far away in nowhere called Grinsted to switch buss to continue to the airport. And of course, that buss didn't came for an hour.
So to kill some time, we had a massive photos hoot around the buss stop, and it was hilarious. The people around us looked at us like we were mental. But finally we got to the airport, and then we had to wait for 2 hours there to. I just wanted to stay there, Herning was amazing, and I can't wait to move there next summer to go to the school Teko, to study fashion design. Can't wait,

The Fashion Economist loves Lanvin loves H&M

Can't help but love the designer collaborations at H&M. It may be an old concept, but it still works for me! Felt like a crazy shopaholic on the bus with the grandest shopping bags of all (yes, I queued up well before breakfast...). Okay, maybe I am, but I made a good deal, though!:)
Les sacs grands! Love the exclusive feel of the bags, the hangers and the  garment bags.
Never to old to be a princess...

Fit for the festive season?

This skirt may be the most wearable garment of all. The fabric feels very solid. Love it already!

Hm... so what do you think? Keep everything or just some? Definitively need to attend more red carpet events (or arrange my own) to justify my splurge!

Look of the day

Trench: Reiss. Top: H&M. Skirt: H&M. Shawl: By Marlene Birger. Ankle boots: Gardenia (New. Love them!).
Opaques: Cubus. Handbag: Alexander Wang.

The gates of Frognerparken - snapped from the bus.
Good morning sweeties! I'm an earlybird today and snapped a few pics on the go. Love fall break! Not that I have any time off, but considering the lacking crowds on the bus this morning, a good deal of Oslo must be sleeping in. A win-win situation.
