It was something special about wering high heels for the first time in months. It felt good to get up in the height again to breathe in tall people’s air. But I need time to adjust to click clocking down the streets during the light hours I think. As I walked my first steps down the main street I felt like a vampire on the loose. In this city the high heeled people are mainly out during night time, so you have to deal with some stares. But eventually you get used to it.

Yesterday was the best spring day so far. It’s hard to see on the pictures as they were taken late. The sun was shining and it was quite warm, considering the fact that I live in Norway. I replaced my wool tights with some thin ones instead. It was wonderful! No itching. But don’t be fooled -I added a chunky wool cardigan and a thin scarf outside. It’s not THAT hot yet.
I’m a fan of the slick hair trend. It’s great for showing off ear jewelry. I think it looks cool with an androgynous style. Can’t wait to experiment more with it and wear it with a cute dress to toughen it up a bit.
I recently got a belt quite similar to this from Topshop, with 5 or 6 rows. Unfortunately it was a tad too narrow in size S. If anyone of you can help me get it in size medium or large I would appreciate it sooo much!
I immedeatly craved thisear chain by Bliss Lau when I saw it in a magazine. Instead of paying $191 for it I decided to make one myself. I looked around and found an old necklace which had both a thin and a thicker chain mixed together. After cutting out a piece of it I gathered the loose ends by using an old ear piercing. I might get an arrowed piercing and a more delicate chain later, but this will do for now.
I’m spellbound by this girl and the mood of the picture. It’s stated to be from either Woodstock or a Rolling Stones concert. I find the era she represents so beautiful - The idea of so many people gathered for peace and love, where music played such a great role.
Edit: A kind reader told me that it’s from the Isle of Wight Festival. Thank you!
Pictures of jewelry, like the ones above, fascinates me. One of my goals this year is to expand my jewelry collection. Some of my current obsessions are chunky rings, earcuffs, chains and simple draping jewelry.
Well, I’m alive. The last weeks have been busy busy at school. We are working as journalists these days. I can’t wait to get time and energy on my hands to be back here. I have a lot to show you.
I’m leaving for Oslo today to support my brother tomorrow. He is going to be on a TV show named Det store korslaget. It’s a show where different Norwegian music celebrities compete with choirs that they have picked from their home city. My brother is going to be in the choir of Thom Hell. I’m so proud of him!

I’m so looking forward to taking out my bike again. It’s perfect for getting around from place to place. This summer I used it all the time. These photos were taken a hot day while heading for the city, after a trip to the beach. I bring them up whenever I need to remember the feeling of green grass and trees, hot air, sunlight and summer. Good memories.
