I wanted to try something new and creative here on my blog, and I decided to give drawing a go. Every now and then, I'll try to duplicate one of my recent outfits into a drawing, and share it with you guys. I'm completely terrified, as drawing hasn't exactly been my strong side in the past - but I do love a challenge, so I'm giving it a shot. Here is my first try on my new series: Sketchy outfits! I really hope you like it!
I've been staring at this blank page for a while now, as I can't think of anything to write. What can I write when I'm lacking both inspiration and energy? Complaining about it will not make it better, that's for sure - so I'll just go back to my lover and lay there in her arms, where it's safe and warm.

Well, yes I am! Once every second month or so I actually wear pants. My only rule is that they have to be super comfortable. I decided to combine them with this knitted statement cardigan from iiS of Norway and birthday-gifted lace underwear from Georgia Campbell - given to me by my lover. Sophisticated, but a bit whimsical at the same time. Wearing cardigan from iiS of Norway, Cubus belt, BikBok Pants, J.C shoes and gifted lace underwear from my lover via Pixie Knitwear.
I'm taking a small vacation, but that doesn't mean it will be quiet around here! I've scheduled posts for the entire time I'm gone, so that you won't forget me. See you soon!
Here's the result for the beauty-shoot I did with Ida Sletten and Aina Nerdalen. It was my first one ever, well - except for the one I did myself for Circus Magazine! Strong, vibrant colors - I especially like the orange colors! Unexpected and really cool! What do you think?
This is a big favorite of mine, if not the favorite, out of all my outfits. I love the bizarre combination of three completely different styles: retro pin-up meets modern impulses with kind of a native American vibe. Of course, my "new" twist on the bun is quite cool too - if I may say so myself. There's something very appealing about incompatible mixes like this; it just shows that different styles actually can look quite excellent together if you just try it. I never could stick to just one style, one color or one mood - always changing! My very best tip to everyone out there is: experiment with your style and don't forget to have fun with it! Rome wasn't built in a day, you know! I'm wearing shorts from Gina Tricot, vintage crochet top, shades via Ebay, headpiece (scarf) by Riccovero and Jessica Simpson shoes. Quote by Elizabeth Taylor.
This series of pictures is just packed with inspiration. Beautiful, ethereal, simple, complex. I love them. Sophie Doull by David K. Shields via Fashion Gone Rogue.
Simplicity is my keyword today. I've been feeling rather uninspired lately, which is why it's been quiet around here. I'm trying to give myself a boost of energy by wearing vivid colors - like this orange beauty from Gina Tricot. I fell in love with it the instant I walked into the store last week, and since I actually won a gift certificate in a styling contest last month, getting it was a no-brainer! Wearing a dress from Gina Tricot, cardigan from H&M and J.C shoes. Quote from Cougar Town. And congratulations to Nádia ofMy Fashion Insider on winning the Style Yourself giveaway!
I seriously never thought I'd become a Style Icon onChictopia.com - but guess what happened? It's such an honor, I can't really believe it. I joined Chictopia back in 2009, on February 2nd to be exact. I didn't have the courage to upload a photo until almost six months later - that's almost two years ago! Man have I come a long way since then! Or, at least I think I have! My very best experience with Chictopia was of course when I won a trip to San Francisco and got to hang with the awesome creators of this community in February (read here: Stylesipped with Chictopia in San Francisco). It was a once in a lifetime experience which I will treasure forever!
Above is the first outfit I uploaded to my account. I remember this day, because I felt like I was in a coma all day - which isn't that weird considering my morning started at three p.m. I'm wearing Cubus jacket, Only shorts, H&M shirts and Akira shoes.
Thank you so much for the support; both to you and the Chictopia team! You guys rock! I'm sorry for leaving you hanging for the last couple of days, I needed a mini vacation - but I guess that it's a good thing, considering what waited for me when I returned today!

Sleepwalking. Not even six cups of coffee could help me today. It was worth it, though. Wearing a simple sheer dress-tunic, quite effortless. The weather is are arguing with itself today, so it's sunshine, rain - rain, sunshine. I think I'll just stay inside today. Yes. Good idea. Snuggle up with Ida. Wearing Cubus sheer tunic-dress, vintage necklace ass a belt and Jessica Simpson shoes. Quote by Walt Whitman.
A sneak peak at what I did yesterday, and the reason I slept for 16 hours straight. Here I'm wearing the show-piece from Norwegian designer Vatle, of course. It was so much fun trying on so many of her designs, it really gave me a whole new perspective on the collection - and Kjersti Vatle as a designer. She really is amazing. First photo by Arne Bru Haug - the others are taken with my Nokia N8! MUA: Vidar Svendsen. Hair: Ulla Rafaelsen, Cosmo Beauty.
I'm on Facehunter! Check out Yvan's beautiful pictures here! These past couple of days have been kind of awesome. Not only did I get to meet the famous Yvan Rodic and have coffee with him, but I socialized - two days in a row. That's a new record! No, not really - but you get my point! Yvan was kind enough to invite me to tag along with him and Ingrid of The Showmanship yesterday, and though I'm awfully shy, quiet, awkward, whatnot - I really enjoyed just hanging out, listening to his stories and drinking coffee. Oh, and the funniest thing: NRK did an interview with Yvan while he was shooting me; so now there are pictures of him taking pictures of me on the interwebs. Check out the article here, if you want. It's in Norwegian (Nynorsk). Picture by Maren Kvamme Hagen (NRK.no)

This first round of the contest ends on the 21st! That's this Tuesday!
