Sleep till eleven, went to the beach, a lot of wind, but my lover brought me homemade onion rings – the best ones I’ve ever had, got cold though, went back to the room for a little siesta, got hungry, went to the shopping center, could not find the recommended restaurant right in front of us, found a random place to eat a great pizza and not so great lasagna, talked to some Dutchmen, they showed us magic tricks and pictures of their sand sculptures, the lover asked the most stupid question: “how do you make them?”. Sand.. And water.. Dooh! Talked a bit more, they’ve traveled for years and years, got inspired, wanted to do the same, saw what they ordered, changed my mind, I want to afford more than a little spring-roll, I am one material girl, went back to the room for a nightcap, fell asleep.
Woke up to a clouded sky, waited for the sun, it came, stayed on the balcony till four o’clock, took a taxi to Playa del Ingles, went to the most gay-friendly shopping center in all of Europe, ate a Spanish omelet, bought a new dress for New Years eve, ordered some drinks at Eden, got tired, went back to San Agustin to make some more food, home made sandwich with meat, tomato, red onions, salad and gorgeous-tasting bread, drank some beer, fell asleep again.
Went to the beach, less windy, sunbathed for a couple of hours, covered my face with a scarf, uncovered the upper unmentionables, smoked a cigarette, got eyeballed by some Italian guy, turned around, saw the Italian guy approaching, said hi, offered him a cigarette, said bye, got dressed, went home, made a sandwich and stayed in night-capping the rest of the day.
I’m wearing a Cubus silk dress, local earrings and shoes from a random store in Germany.
